I always pass by those cute feather butterflies at Hobby Lobby and wondered what to use them for. I came across this cute DIY butterfly wreath, while looking for something Spring-like for our front door. It was just what I was looking for! I only needed a few other supplies, and some patience wrapping the wreath mold.
Supplies:
Styrofoam Wreath
Yarn (color of choice)
Feather Butterflies (in variety of sizes and colors)
Hot Glue Gun
Scissors
Wrap styrofoam wreath completely with yarn....WARNING: this takes longer than you would think! I had to pass it on for everyone else to take their turn.
Place feather butterflies in the layout that you like on your wreath, do this before you glue so you can move them around until you get them to look like you want them to. Put a small drop of hot glue on the wreath and stick each butterfly onto glue, holding for a few seconds. Continue until all butterflies are glued, and let it sit for a few minutes.....bada bing!
