My best friend and roommate in college always had a thing for maps, she loved to display them in every room of our shabby college apartment.  I recently stumbled upon these other ways that maps are conceptualized through fashion, body art, furniture and keeping warm.  Love them all!

Mamika & Papika...Grandma's Superhero Therapy

How awesome is this series by French photographer, Sacha Goldberger? The story is even cooler! Goldberger took these pictures to cheer up his 91-year-old grandmother who was lonely and depressed.

This one is from the newest series featuring Mamika's new boyfriend, Papika. Too funny! With the success of the first series, Goldberger created a MySpace page for his grandmother. With over 2,000 friends, she receives congradulatory and inspirational messages, reminding her how lucky she is.

This one is my favorite!
